"Veganism vs. Violence" in Action!

I am pleased to report that a campaign in Toronto to educate people about vegan issues on our public transportation system, the Toronto Transit Commission, has adopted the abridged version of my essay, whose title is in the title of this blog entry. The BeVeg.ca site can be accessed HERE. It shows the incredibly evocative ads, which zero in on why do we love some animals but eat others? My mom actually became vegetarian after our family dog died, asking that very question! Special thanks to Kimberly Carroll and the whole team involved in that campaign!
